中文授课

Who is this for?

For anyone who works in a multinational company with co-workers from a variety of cultural backgrounds. They need strategies for adapting faster and more effectively to cultural differences.

What will they learn?

A framework for using cultural intelligence to overcome cultural differences.

This framework includes 5 key steps;

·         Resistance – To learn how to identify cultural differences faster

·         Awareness – To switch from reacting to responding more proactively

·         Curiosity – To develop a healthy attitude towards facing cultural differences

·         Knowledge – To understand the key cultural differences experienced at work

·         Application – To formulate action plans for adapting behaviour to overcome cultural differences

How is this different to other courses?

The 5 step framework is unique to this course. It’s called ‘The Map of Difference’ and it condenses both cultural intelligence and cultural difference theories into a simple and highly practical model. Learners will be able to use this framework to quickly resolve cultural differences they encounter at work.

This course also uses a model called ‘The Culture Map’ based on Erin Meyer’s book of the same name. This model is one of the most practical models for studying cultural differences, and has categorised them into 8 different dimensions which are most commonly experienced in the workplace.

What are the benefits?
